Just because the trout season has finished members can still fish for Grayling up till March14th 2021. All beats are open till Christmas, then Wylye village, Steeple Langford and Burford will only be open from there on.
Simple rules:
1. Catch and Release only.
2. Fly only. No bait fishing.
3. Maximum of 2 flies.
4. Wading allowed but only when necessary ( and safe) and please try to keep to the margins. We are very keen to protect any redds so that fish can breed. A redd is clean area of gravel which looks like it’s been turned over.
5. Please keep a catch record and return it to Matt Gregory (matthew_gregory01@hotmail.co.uk) at the end of the season.
