original Blog posting Nov 21, reposted in blog in Jan 22 after website member cleanup to remove duplicate member After a lesson with Matt Gregory at Beat I last week, I have taken to tying and using nymphs with larger tungsten beads. Two that stand out as point nymphs and recommended by Matt are the Purple Nasty ( https://blog.fullingmill.com/how-to-tie-the-purple-nasty-jig-euro-nymph/ ) and the Duracell Jig nymph ( https://www.flyfishfood.com/blogs/nymph-tutorials/duracell-jig ) links to tying videos are attached above or you can get them direct from Fulling Mill and other suppliers. We’d be keen to hear the others that members been having success with. tight lines, Jon Sims

      BEAT D BARFORD
      General Discussions
The farm bridge at the top of the beat has been closed by Wilton Estate as unsafe to all traffic. If members wish to exit having fished to the top of this beat, they must either retrace their steps or exit on the true left bank and use the pedestrian gate in the black metal fence.
