The last 6 weeks of the season saw just 33 visits across September and through October 14th. This period provided some good sessions with a couple of members reporting 6 fish caught on a beat. A total of 64 wild brownies and 44 grayling were reported with 9 stocked trout. One member reported a barn owl keeping them company for nearly 5 minutes on Beat A, a very special experience in addition to the fishing!

Successful flies were reported as Nymphs: PTN's, Black nymphs, Duracell, Ginger Tim and Shrimps. Successful dries: Foam Dun, Deer Hair Emergers, Klinkhammers, Adams and Daddies
A total of 287 visits were reported in the 2025 season, resulting in 1005 wild trout caught, 229 Grayling, 72 stocked trout and number of coarse fish. The club had a very successful season despite the challenging conditions - many thanks to all the members who have added in their catch returns from the season, this really helps the club.
This is the final catch return of the trout season but I will share any reports during the Grayling and Pike seasons.
