Wonderful Wylye

Beautiful 2 hour session on the Wylye at Wylye village today. River was slightly coloured but not too high. Caught a mixture of trout and grayling. Nothing massive but a beautiful grayling on a size 14 pale olive klinkhammer.

Then another beauty on the nymph. Came up through the water column and took the nymph on the hang. Totally visual and really exiting. Sorry the picture’s not brilliant but you get some idea of the size.

If you get a chance go out fishing, it’s great for the body, mind and soul.
