Great morning at 14 hatches

Did a half day instruction today with new member Chris Hawkins on beat F. Chris was interested in learning some nymphing techniques. He took to it well, catching some fabulous trout and grayling. One of the grayling was a good 14” long. Nadder was running high and little bit coloured but it was a great morning on a beautiful stretch of river.

I had a fascinating time with Matt, and learned a lot (I've only been fly fishing for about 20 years). I'd recommend Matt's tuition and it was a good way to learn about the beat from an expert.
