Second Stocking of 2024 Season

The second stocking of the season has been completed today. The standard tags were used as the Environment Agency FLOC tags were not received in time.

Mike has sent through some pictures of the stocked trout, which this year are marked with a standard Green tag by the dorsal fin (highlighted by the arrow). The colours from previous years stocking are 2023: Red and 2022: Yellow in the same position, please add comments in the catch reporting form if you catch prior years tags fish.

This means Beats D/E, and K/L have been stocked for the season. F/H/I have had their initial stocking and will have one final stocking later in the season.

These tags should make Stockie identification easier for members, you are highly encouraged to take any that you catch!

Note that beats A/B/C/M/P and N/O are all catch and release beats only and are not stocked
