I managed to get a full day on beats A,B & C back on August. The day was perfect albeit a little warm. Plenty of fly life and a lot of fish activity which provided some good sport.
I started off at the bottom of beat A and worked my way up. Very quickly I was in to a very nice brownie. I had caught fish on this beat before but nothing of this size. I was sure it was a stockie until I landed it and was pleased to find it was a wild one.
Second cast and I missed what seemed to be another large brownie but decided to head on up through the beats.
I continued up through the beats throughout the day with continued success but I had that little voice in my head telling me I needed to go back to that spot to try and catch the one that got away.
A couple of cast later and I was hooked again. However, I am fairly convinced that I caught the same fish that I had caught earlier that morning.
I'll let you all be the judge and tell me what you think

Looking at the markings I would agree. Nice fish.
Definitely two peas in a pod and a great result regardless of whether it's the same fish or not.
If it is the same fish on the same day, then it shows our beats are not being stressed
