After a lesson with Matt Gregory at Beat I last week, I have taken to tying and using nymphs with larger tungsten beads. Two that stand out as point nymphs and recommended by Matt are the Purple Nasty (https://blog.fullingmill.com/how-to-tie-the-purple-nasty-jig-euro-nymph/) and the Duracell Jig nymph (https://www.flyfishfood.com/blogs/nymph-tutorials/duracell-jig) links to tying videos are attached above or you can get them direct from Fulling Mill and other suppliers.
We’d be keen to hear the others that members been having success with.
tight lines,
Jon Sims
