Wylye Beat K

Hi all, the cluster of fallen trees on Beat K is still proving a challenge to sort out. This is due to the landowner not currently having the resources to address the issue, and the unseasonably high flows hindering access through much of the season. The risk of debris to the mill downstream means we need to tackle the trees very carefully. Our keepers will address what they can but we'll have to bring in some extrenal professional help for some of it. As with other fallen trees, we'll always look to retain woody habitat features wherever we can for habitat purposes. Expect a trimming back rather than a full removal.
